Update 1: 12h layover. Oh my goodness. I can’t feel my fingers, or my toes, or my bum. Actually I’m numb everywhere. It’s -1 c and I swear I’m not Swedish enough anymore to handle going from +38c to this freezing climate.
Update 2: Still cold, but happy! Belgrade is way prettier than I expected! Took a little stroll along the Christmas markets and Festung Kalemegdan, then down to the more hip street of Skadarlilja to enjoy some delicious Serbian food before heading back to the airport!
