I truly had an amazing weekend in Eilat with Gilad and his family. During this short trip we managed to do so much! We went to the different malls and shops, Eilat is tax free so the prices are way lower here than in the rest of Israel. The Ice Mall has some ice skating for the one who feels like getting away from the sun. Everywhere in the city you can see huge and beautiful hotel buildings and enjoy cheap cooling lemonana for 5 shekels. We stayed just outside the city centre at a apartment complex with balcony, garden and a lovely swimming pool. One of the days we went to the Coral Beach which is close to the boarding crossing to Egypt (Taba) and Gilad and I did some snorkeling with the colourful fish and the corals. So pretty!
At night we visited the restaurants Giraffe Noodle Bar (good sushi and GREAT Udon noodles) and Pedro (great service, homemade gnocchi and steaks). Went to see the show Mad Mad Wow at Theatre Isrotel, Royal Garden (?) and I LOVED IT, so funny and so impressive at the same time.
