Got to Yangon at like 4.30 am.. Way earlier than planned... Luckily we could drop our bags off at Simon and Sara's place but after that we were on our own, wandering the streets of Yangon in the morning mist! After hours of walking, seeing the big Pagoda (which was 8000 kyats to go into, no thanks) from the outside, and trying the popular Lucky Seven Tea Shop (the flat noodle salad was really good!) we went to Beautiful Land Hotel 2 where the boys stayed and hung out for the rest of the day until we had to run back to the hotel, get our bags and rush for the airport! Yangon is in our opinion not worth visiting, it got nothing on the rest of Burma.. It's dirty, loud and not very pretty to look at..
Update: Got to Kuala Lumpur safely, ate McDonalds (you have no idea how much we enjoyed it) and found a perfect sleeping spot for the night!
